For installers, the equipment end-of-life process with ECOLOGIC is simple. This involves organising the collection, decontamination and treatment/recycling of equipment to ensure a responsible end-of-life.
When an installer installs an ODIC cabinet in place of an old cabinet that needs to be recovered (ODIC or other), they have three options:
– As soon as the installer is informed of the exact date on which the equipment can be collected from the customer’s premises, all they have to do is log on to the e-dechet.com website. This is a dedicated platform that operates throughout France, for requesting ECOLOGIC’s intervention for the collection of material(s) to be recycled. The installer must create an account directly via the online platform and place the order, around 10 working days before the desired collection date.
This service is free of charge provided that the total weight of the equipment to be removed exceeds 250 kg. Below this weight, the service will be invoiced at a flat rate of €140 excluding VAT.
– The installer may also set up a specific collection contract. They can then benefit from special advantages by collecting the equipment to be recycled from their customers themselves, and storing it directly at their premises (in order to reach the threshold of €140 EXCL. TVA for free collection). They will then be able to place an order with ECOLOGIC via their account on e-dechet.com for collection within 10 working days.
– As a third option, the installer can take the equipment to be recycled to a collection point (200 collection points to date), a list of which can be found via their account on e-dechet.com or by downloading the iDepose application onto their smartphone.
